At its peak, Bead Industries had 300 employees working in three shifts. At the start, it was just three men and an idea. The company was founded by Waldo Calvin Bryant, his son, Waldo Gerald Bryant, and Gilbert Goodridge, an engineer in the family’s business, Bryant Electric Co. in Bridgeport.
