Ken Bryant, Chairman & CEO

Ken Bryant joined Bead in 1998 and immediately implemented a new strategic vision for the company based on its core strengths and Lean manufacturing principles. Ken right-sized the organization, purchased modern new facilities and established an outside board of directors to guide and monitor Bead’s progress. Currently, Ken sits on the Executive Board of the New Haven Manufacturer’s Association (NHMA). Formerly, he was the Chairman of the Metal Manufacturing Education and Training Alliance (METAL), member of the Industrial Board of the International Association of Management of Technology (IAMOT), executive Board member of the West End Community Development Corp. in Bridgeport, and a board member of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council. Ken earned a BA from Beloit College and a MA from the National College of Education. He enjoys golf and has a large collection of contemporary jazz.


Ron Andreoli, President

Ron Andreoli joined Bead Industries as Director of Manufacturing in 2000 and successfully focused and streamlined the organization. He assumed responsibility for electronics sales and was promoted to President in 2007. He currently oversees Bead's strategic growth initiatives and offshore manufacturing partnerships while managing the day to day operations of the company. Prior to joining Bead, Ron held various engineering and management positions at a microwave transmission hardware manufacturer, Radio Frequency Systems, in Wallingford, CT. Ron holds degrees in electrical engineering and business management. He is an avid boater and is interested in historic preservation.


Jill Mayer, Financial Controller 

Jill Mayer joined Bead in 2007. As Controller, Jill directs Bead's financial planning and budget management activities. She also monitors and analyzes the financial performance of both Bead Chain and Bead Electronics divisions and oversees HR for the company. Jill also heads the website development committee and directs Bead's marketing programs. Formerly the Director of Operations at an online marketing consultancy in Vermont, she managed the accounting and HR functions while gaining knowledge in online marketing. Jill earned her BS in Business with a concentration in marketing from the University of Vermont and her MS in IT Management from Champlain College. She enjoys reading, camping, and being a mom.


Bob Halkowicz, National Sales Manager

Bob Halkowicz currently serves as the National Sales Manager for the Bead Chain® division of Bead Industries. Bob's responsibilities include key account support, customer service and new business development within the US. Bob has significant product, customer and industry knowledge having joined Bead in 1970 and held various manufacturing, purchasing and sales positions within the organization. Bob is a loyal NY Giants fan. He served for 3 years in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam.


Kevin Mayer, International Business Development

Kevin Mayer joined Bead in 2008 as Plant Manager with responsibility for the efficient operation of Bead's Milford, CT manufacturing facility. In 2009, he successfully moved Bead’s chain assembly line to Costa Rica and managed production at that site as well. Kevin was recently promoted to International Sales Manager with responsibility for international business development. Prior to joining Bead, Kevin managed a long-term care pharmacy in Vermont while developing new business relationships throughout the Northeast. He earned a BS in Business from the University of Vermont. Kevin is an avid skier and enjoys playing hockey and golf.


Jim Balazsi, Senior Engineer

As senior engineer, Jim Balazsi provides technical support to the sales department and manages the toolroom and production departments. Jim utilizes state-of-the-art software to design, analyze and fabricate customized interconnect pins and associated tooling. He holds several patents including a pending application for Bead's True Grip Pin. Prior to joining Bead in 1987, Jim was responsible for the production of disposable lighters at Bic Corporation in Milford, CT where he also designed and maintained high-speed assembly equipment. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of New Haven, State of Connecticut Tool & Model Maker certification and is a certified Lean Expert. Jim enjoys boating and fishing in Long Island Sound.
