- Stainless steel Bead Chain® is made from STS304J1 stainless steel produced in South Korea. This material complies with Korean Standard KS D 3698 and Japanese Standard JIS G 4305. With 15% - 18% chromium, 6% - 9% nickel and 1% - 3% copper, grade STS304J1 provides the optimum level of functionality for most beaded chain applications at a price that is reasonable for general consumer and industrial applications. STS304J1 grade stainless steel Bead Chain® is very strong, corrosion resistant and shiny. Other grades of stainless steel are available on request for specific applications.
